Runaway Teen Day 1 - Death of a guardian and the beginning

Starting off, to help determine where my 10x10 area is in the lot, I placed a boulder border.

Simple enough!



Here is my teen:

I've named her Andy Collins. I created her from a random male teen that the CAS gave me. I wanted a female though, so here's what I ended up with. She's in a pale looking hoodie, some torn jeans and flip flops.


It's kind of funny. To create her guardian, I used that DNA button and made a mother. And her mother ended up looking a bit Filipino. I'm half Filipino, on my mother's side, so I must have subconsciously made my teen that way. Ha.

This is the mother, her name is Virginia. But that's not really important, because she's going to die. I do love that skirt I threw on her though, I'm thinking Andy will change to that skirt once she's a mother herself.


Here's the small room I put Virginia in:

 I had kind of hoped a fire would start, and speed up the process, but alas, it didn't, so she just sat there dying for three days. I don't even know when exactly she died. I didn't see her die because of the view I was using, and I didn't see Death come to visit. Virginia's urn just showed up in the family inventory.


So remove all of the stuff from the room, sell it all but the cheapo bed, then a cheat to $0, and the game has officially started.

While Andy was waiting for her mom to die, she gathered some flowers and strawberries, and started gardening. Her aspiration is gardening, and her traits were that she loves the Outdoors and cheerful.. or something like that.


She had 11 days to gather and dig and garden before she aged up to young adult. Originally she was going to fish too, but I found that she didn't need fishing. She did well enough with the digging and harvesting and looking for frogs.

To save on travel costs, she would travel to the Gym, then spend days at a time there, because there's a few park like areas in the same spot. She was able to nap on any of the benches, or the couches in the gym, the bathroom at the gym has a toilet and a shower, on the first floor of the gym there was a tv for fun, and if you head to the park areas to gather, eventually someone would come by and grill something to eat! Pretty sorted! ♥
