Runaway Teen Day 3 - A day of frustration before moving!

So I added another single bed in the bedroom, because Roger and Andy aren't at "that point" in their relationship to be sleeping together yet. Plus the bedroom was too small to fit a double bed and be accessible on both sides. lol.

Roger spent a lot of his time helping with the garden and fishing. His aspiration is the angler one, so he likes to fish right down the street!

And then bad happened.

My sims caught a bug. They would do what they were supposed to for a minute, and then they'd stop moving, still losing fun, hunger, bladder, etc. but not able to move. Exiting the game became impossible without force closing.

This happened for a while. I googled ways to fix it, so I tried clearing cache and also evicting and moving them back in... but no dice. I even changed the settings to less than best quality, and removed half their garden. Nope.

Finally, I packed up the bits of garden I wanted to keep, and moved them out of the lot altogether.

Of course, since I was in for more than a minute packing the garden, she froze before she could call to move, and I had to force close and restart the game.

So they moved across the street. Literally. I had originally moved her in to a lot that I had bulldozed because I liked the size. But forget that, I moved them in to the lot across the street from their old house, and just made sure to build within the 10x10 space.

Since I cut down drastically on the garden, I now had room to expand their home!

Despite teaching Roger cooking skill to 2, he still set the stove, counter, and himself on fire while making scrambled eggs. Ugh. I did have a moment of panic when I saw he was on fire, but he was able to extinguish himself pretty quick.

We'll end here... with their first kiss. ♥

They spent the day building their romantic relationship until they were comfortable enough to sleep together in the same bed. ♥
