Breed Out the Ugly Day 3 - Goodbye Lexie!

Time for a remodel! I pulled the side wall out a couple squares and made a super long bedroom for when the toddlers grow up. I figured there was no point in selling the toddler beds, because I'll need them for the next gen. You can also see a couple upgrades. Every time Lexie makes enough money, she upgrades something. Of course, she couldn't do much upgrading since there was a bedroom addition.

It's time for Emerson to become a kid! Who else is looking forward to getting out of toddler? I must admit I'm not that big a fan of the toddlers. This is my first time playing toddlers. I had no problem skipping that age group when they introduced Sims 4. But alas, now I'm stuck with toddlers.

Here's kid Emerson after his hairstyle and outfit change. I like this pic cuz Danica is in the back just standing there looking dead and scary.

Here we have Emerson playing on the puter while Danica works on stacking blocks. I decided it was much easier to use the kiddie tablets to help the toddlers skill up.

I missed getting a pic of Danica growing up, but here she is. I missed the pic because I didn't realize it was her birthday, so she just randomly hopped out of her toddler bed all angry and grew up. Her face looks very similar to Emerson's. Her cheeks are a little sharper and her eyes are more like her mum's. She also has a tummy, where Emerson does not.

I didn't take many pictures of them as kids. A mix of forgetting and getting too busy dealing. Danica still has a temper. But here's Emerson blowing out the candles for his birthday!

Here's Emerson sitting on Danica's toddler bed, while Lexie is on his. You can see he didn't end up with her chin. His cheeks are pretty pronounced and his nose is still pointy and sharp but not as bad as hers. Body wise, he has Lexie's narrow shoulders, so I had to be picky about what he wore, because some of the tops looked awful on him.

Emerson's mate chosen! Okay, technically I haven't decided if he's heir yet, but I'm leaning toward him! He's still a teen right now, and she's a young adult, but this blonde is adorable. Her name is Leah Marion, and she's a part of a long forgotten family I played. I think it was the first family I played after I had to reinstall.

Everyone hold your breath! It's Danica's birthday!!

...

Oh... dear.

I gave her a nice haircut, and some makeup. She needed some eyeshadow to fake some eye definition, and some color to her death white face. Look at the lips on her! I also triiied to find some more flattering clothes. She ended up with her mom's body type, except Danica weighs a lot more.

It's decided - Emerson is heir.

While Emerson was growing up I bought Danica a treadmill. She lost a bunch of her weight, but she still has her mum's body type, so it didn't improve - other than some abs.

It was at this point where I took pity on Danica. She wasn't going to be heir, and her mum is already awful looking, so why not help her out a little? I put in a cheat to alter her. Not much, just enough for her to not look like a hideous Lexie-mini-me. I lessened her body shape a little, gave her a normal complexion, lowered her mouth a little and made it smaller, and shortened her pointy nose.

We end Lexie and Danica's story with Emerson blowing out his candles to reach young adulthood.

I moved Danica and Lexie out ASAP. On to Emerson!

Breed Out the Ugly Day 2 - Babies of the second generation!

We start today with Lexie going in to labor! I have the Get to Work expansion, which means if I send her to hospital, I'll have to go to... I think. And I don't feel like going, it's basically a waste of time. So during the BOtU challenge, the ladies will be having their babies at home.

Poof! Baby!! A baby boy I named Emerson.

You can see he has his daddy's skin color, which is very promising! It was around this time that she got pregnant with baby #2.

Look at toddler Emerson! Awww, isn't he a cutie!!

Would you just LOOK at the lil sim thing in the corner?! SHE IS TERRIFYING.

Baby number 2! A girl named Danica. You can see there that Danica has the same skintone as her mum. I like this picture, because you can see Emerson's near his mum, and Goopy's just standing there staring like, "Well, I guess my job is done now."

Here's Danica as a toddler. I don't know if it's just intuition, but I'm thinking the heir will be Emerson. Their facial features are very similar as toddlers, but maybe it's the fact that Emerson has a normal skin color?

By now, Goopy's moved out and this was essentially the scene every day for a VERY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. Danica liked to play, but Emerson was a bit of a loner. Toddlers needs go down QUICK, so they're very rarely happy. And Danica had quite a temper. She became angry a lot more often than Emerson.

Fun fact: After playing with Danica like that, Lexie got dizzy, and APPARENTLY in the Sims 4, "dizzy" is a visible, chicken-pox-like, temporary disease.

I mean, LOOK at that. SCARY!!! These kids need to grow up ASAP so I can move her out and never have to look at her again. LOL.

Breed Out the Ugly Day 1 - Meet Lexie!

Meet Lexie Torrezo! She's got some great big sharp features, and a fun body type. Her complexion is the literal white - not just pale. You can't see it but I also gave her scraggly teeth.

I'm a fan of her body shape. You can't tell much from this picture, but her upper arms and legs are as small as they can go, while her lower arms, legs, and feet are as big as they can go. Her boobs and waist are the tiniest they can be, while her tummy, bum, and hips are at max.

I gave her some big hair, to distract from her face a bit, and I added some makeup to try and warm up her death white skin. Then I tried to find her some flattering clothes!

I chose a small one bedroom house in Oasis Springs to be the Torrezo home! I'm very happy with this choice, I think there's plenty of room here to work with.

The original furnishings I decided on! Not much, tried to stick with the cheapest options so that she could still have money to, you know, live. I didn't plan on having Lexie work a real job, I decided she could sell paintings instead. So she has an easel. And then there's also a bookshelf and a computer for entertainment.

Here's Lexie working on her cooking skills. We don't want her burning down the house!!

Enter Lexie's mate! I'm a sucker for redheads, and I liked the look of this fellow. It is most unfortunate that his name is Goopy Grier... or maybe it's fate that someone named Goopy might be a part of Breed Out the Ugly.

I didn't have long to wait for a potential mate! He showed up during the welcome wagon challenge thing on Lexie's second day of living!

Their first date was at a spa, which went so well he agreed to move in before the date was over!

Here she is making googly eyes at him... it's a bit terrifying but I try not to look at her much. LOL

Kisses!!

As soon as she could, she got knocked up. And spent most of her pregnant time painting. The problem was, I kept liking the art she made so much, I would keep them instead of sell! It's okay, I had Goopy get a job so he helped her during his stay.

Intro: And we're back with a new challenge!

Greetings, nobody!
(Not being bitter, just accepting of the fact that no one reads this blog.)

So what happened was... my Sims 4 started acting up/crashing with the addition of expansions, so I had to reinstall it completely and change the way it runs on the 'puter. Which means I've lost all my previous families! That hit me hard for a bit, so I've spent some time away from Sims 4. Occasionally I'd go in, start a family and play for a while, but I'd try not to get attached - what if I lost them too?

All seems to be well after a few months though... so I'm playing again... and I'm hoping to chronicle my newest challenge here!

The challenge I've chosen this time is....

Breed out the ugly!

Now, the main difference between this challenge and the other two I attempted previously, is that I won't be looking up official rules and I'm just not interested in any official scoring. So I've made up my own rules!

Iggle Squiggle's Breed Out the Ugly Rules:

~ Create the ugliest Sim you can
~ Move them in to a house of your choice unfurnished
~ No adding money cheats
--->
~ Choose one member of the opposite sex to be your sim's mate for the next gen
~ Move them in
~ You may only get pregnant twice
~ Move that mate sim out when the second pregnancy is complete
~ Your sim can no longer have kids
~ You may choose your next gen heir once all kids have reached at least teen
~ Once your chosen heir has hit young adult, move out your previous parent and any siblings

~ Repeat steps again from the arrow down
~ Hairstyles and outfits can be changed, but no reconstructive changes to sims in play!

~ See how many gens it takes to breed the ugly out!

And so.... we go!!
