Breed Out the Ugly Day 14 - Goodbye challenge!

I played this far even though I feel like I was already successful with Avery because I wanted to see her kids with Don.

But in this episode they age to teen, so that'll be the official end of this challenge!

As souvenirs, they mounted some fish. Avery mounted a crawfish, Lyric mounted a gummy fish, and Brennan mounted a perch.

And here we have one of the dumbest career rewards ever. On the left is the guitar Avery already owned, and on the right is the career reward. It's very pretty, and I love that it's blue, as Avery quite likes blue instruments. My issue is... guitar had literally nothing to do with her career. Violin and Piano was all of her career, with some jokes thrown in at the beginning. So why'd she get a guitar as a reward???

Here are the kiddies doing a little drawing. Since they're the last of the challenge, I sold the toddler stuff/extra kid/teen stuff and brought the activity tables back inside.

And here's Lyric doing some early evening yoga. I hate how yoga gives you muscles in this game... after a couple days she was built like a bodybuilder.

There, you can totally see her muscle definition in this pic. Geeze. She wandered over to the spa to do some yoga with an instructor.

Brennan's turn to age up!

...Not bad! Pretty good looking. Two good looking teens.

By now, Lyric's wellness had skilled to where she could give some pretty good massages, so out with the activity tables and in with a masseuse table! Here she is giving Brennan a sports massage.

And our last pic of the challenge ends with Avery - our first successful non-ugly, right after she aged from young adult to adult.

Breed Out the Ugly Day 13 - Camping trip!

It was time for a vacation! Avery was promoted to top of the musical entertainer career, so they went camping!

As soon as they got to the campsite, Avery headed over to buy supplies.

Meanwhile Brennan started stargazing...

And Lyric played horseshoes!

They wandered over to a park to have a light, grilled fruit lunch.

Then they went fishing with their furry friend.

Then they wandered over to the brambles and went to visit the hermit!

Here she was, tending to her vegetables.

The kids took slept in the hermit's bed.

Avery spent some time stargazing before she went to bed in the tent she brought with.

The next morning, still at the hermit's, the kids decided to go fishing, but for whatever reason, Avery couldn't click the sign to fish. Instead she started cloud gazing.... in the water...

Eventually she stood up and was able to fish though. Look! She caught something!

Time to leave the Hermit's!

They spent that night stargazing together before hitting the hay.

That morning they feasted on fried fish.

And spent the rest of their trip roasting marshmallows before they had to go!

Breed Out the Ugly Day 12 - Toddlers growing up

This is a fun little popup that shows when you leave your kids. I was hesitant to just have her leave, but I knew it was super easy to bring her home from work, so I figured it was fine. But yeah! This pops up. I sent them to daycare for a few days until Avery was able to earn enough cash to hire a nanny comfortably, since bills were around 7k a week.

Here we have our nanny, ignoring the mess behind him while he just awkwardly stares at the kids who are chilling on their tablets.

Also, one evening, when Avery got back home, she went to practice her guitar, and nanny just grabbed the violin and started playing!

Time for Lyric to age up!

Mommy hugs! I'm embarrassed I didn't get more toddler pics of these two. Like, seriously lacking. Shame on me.

And now it's Brennan's turn! Wondering what cake that is?

A sugar free carob coconut cake! Mmm... okay I won't like, parts of that sounds okay, but to be honest, carob is what they make most "dog-friendly" cakes out of, so I just imagine this cake tasting like a big, soft dog biscuit.

Breed Out the Ugly Day 11 - Hello Brennan, Goodbye Don

No pictures!! Little Lyric was crying during this picture, but it was so cute. She had a potty training accident.

This is where Avery and Don confirm that they should just be friends. Avery is already pregnant with baby number two, so Don's almost on his way out!

Welcome baby boy! His name is Brennan.

Shortly after Brennan was born, Lyric just wandered in to play on her tablet.

Time to get with the baby making!

Just a pic of pregnant Avery about to pay the bills.

In labor! HEY! There's Goopy in the background! She's never met him, but that's her grandpa!

It's a baby girl! Named Lyric, which came up on random selection, and I thought it was perfect, because Avery is very musical.

Time to get started on baby number 2!

It's at this point that Don discusses his fear of commitment with Avery, which is fine by her. She was essentially raised by a single parent, she can do this too! Look at how he's staring at her over his sunglasses. What a dork.

Overall, Don was really good with the baby! He beat Avery to Lyric a lot of the time.

Here's Avery learning piano while Don listens. When Don moved in, he was a detective, so I had him quit and get a job in sports. And then I had Avery get a job in entertainment since she was musically inclined.
